January 2012 Update - CRAG

On Tuesday 6th September, the Scottish Cabinet road show was held in Elgin Town Hall. Like-minded concerned groups campaigning against the proliferation of rural wind-farm developments right across Scotland were demonstrating outside the venue from 2pm and all were welcome to swell the numbers and hand out leaflets. Burghead and Cummingston Community Council and CRAG had representatives with prepared questions for the First Minister should they have been afforded the opportunity to deliver them at the meeting which started at 3.30pm and went on to well after 5pm. Our MSP received the CRAG question by hand and everyone at the meeting were encouraged to submit theirs in pre-printed forms after the meeting, which our BCCC representative did on behalf of the community. CRAG awaits an official response, which was assured by the Cabinet. However, BCCC have received their response and a link to that follows below.
